Draw a letter.
Make a typeface.
Draw your own alphabet and download an installable OpenType font. Start from a blank canvas or remix our simple geometric starter.
Draw A
Use a mouse, pen or finger. Draw between the side guides; the baseline keeps letters aligned. Changes stay in memory until you save a project.
Your font has no drawn characters yet.
Only drawn glyphs are included. This starter maker uses fixed spacing; it does not add kerning, ligatures or font hinting.
From pen strokes to font outlines.
Each stroke becomes a filled vector outline, assigned to the character you chose. Your downloaded OpenType file can be installed in applications that support OTF fonts. Start with a few letters, check their size and spacing, then finish the alphabet you need.
Use the geometric starter as a working example, or draw every letter yourself. Lowercase letters and punctuation have separate slots. An uppercase A does not automatically create a lowercase a.
Keep a copy of your editable project.
Save project downloads a JSON file containing your drawings and font name. Open project restores that file so you can keep editing later. The app does not upload your drawings, and refreshing the page discards unsaved work.
